Charis Training

When collections get tough - turn to Charis training. We recognise the needs of front-line staff and managers and, just as crucial, the needs of the customers. It's a balancing game but we are committed to helping you improve your understanding of the complexities of collections from vulnerable customers.

We are delighted to offer tailored training to companies that wish to secure a win-win solution with their customers and ensure that genuine financial difficulties are supported.

All our traininers have a proven track record in the operational side of debt collection, and passionately believe that successful debt collection can and should be conducted within an environment of mutual respect. Our approach guarantees:

As you'd expect from Charis, each training course is tailored to reflect your company's specific collection policies. We specialise in a common sense interpretation to the Office of Fair Trading's Debt Collection Guidance Note and best practice guidelines for dealing with customers in financial difficulties facing mental health problems. All our courses include practical tips on negotiation, call control, call structure and conversation strategy.

Our training products are complemented by our Audit service, whereby we will work with your company in understanding how your debt collection policies and procedures compare with best practice.


Begining in January 2008, each stand-alone module will include seperate sessions on good practice and overcoming pitfalls as well as a group task. Delegates will be limited to 20 to maximise participation.
