Community Money Advice (CMA) – A national charity that helps community groups establish free face-to-face debt advice services. Visit www.communitymoneyadvice.com/findacentre to find your nearest community group.

Citizens Advice – helps people resolve their problems including information and advice on debt, money and consumer advice. Visit www.citizensadvice.org.uk for details.

Government – Visit the government website www.gov.uk if you are in need of advice on many different topics. They offer advice on dealing with money issues, debts, bankruptcy, court orders and many more.

National Debtline – provides free advice and resources to help people deal with their debts. Visit www.nationaldebtline.org or call free on 0808 808 4000.

PayPlan – Offering free debt advice and free debt management plans. Visit www.payplan.com or call 0800 280 2816 for more information.

Stepchange – provides a full debt help service via its website www.stepchange.org including a debt remedy tool. If you prefer, speak to an advisor on 0808 138 1111.
